If you’re in need of a rejuvenating break then take a few days away to walk through some of the world’s most beautiful scenery—the landscape of North Wales.

This yoga holiday will include mornings and evenings of Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation, afternoon guided walks in the beautiful mountains, lakes and landscape of Snowdonia National Park with stunning views totally immersed in nature . Enjoy delicious organic, home cooked vegan meals.

The location of the yoga centre is in the pretty village of Nantlle nestled amongst the powerful mountains and bordered by the Nantlle lake, between the sea and the western flanks of Snowdon.

The Nantlle valley has rich associations with Welsh mythology and folklore, and when the morning mist rolls off the hills and across the lake, the swans return from their summer breeding grounds, the rain gives way to rainbows and the setting sun creates a golden glow across the Nantlle ridge, the valley is indeed full of mystery and magic.

Set amongst 18 acres of land Triginos is simply stunning.

The central building set in the 18 acres that is Trigonos is known as Plas Baladeulyn (the big house between two lakes). It was built as the home of one of the slate quarry owners and it remained a private home until its conversion into the Richard Wilson Arts Centre in the 1980’s named after the artist who had painted a picture of the valley in 1776.

The landscape is extraordinary not just for the stunning view of the Snowdon range, but also because when you turn your back on that view, you see the equally-but-differently stunning image of dark grey slate tips that are so characteristic of a landscape profoundly affected by the industrial revolution. This is not just a place between two lakes, it is a place between two worlds!

There are 23 bedrooms providing accommodation for 32 people. The rooms are singles (14) and twins (7) plus two doubles. Fifteen are en-suite and 8 are non-en suite. All are comfortable, uncluttered and simply furnished. They are kept warm in cooler times with the help of their eco-friendly biomass heating system.

The food is vegetarian and is of such quality that even dedicated meat eaters can be fully satisfied by it. This is achieved because the owners understand that if you are not naturally a vegetarian being faced with a meatless diet can seem daunting

The chefs are skilled at creating really tasty, readily digestible dishes that are always freshly cooked and nutritious. The emphasis is on fresh and seasonal produce, using home-grown whenever this is possible.

They are also very experienced in creatively meeting a wide range of essential dietary needs including vegan, gluten-free and many others relating to significant health issues such food allergies, coeliac disease etc.

You will serve yourselves from a buffet-style table, ensuring you get what you like and the quantity you want. No one need ever go hungry.

In season they grow a variety of vegetables, fruits and salad stuffs for the table. Their produce is grown without the use of herbicides, insecticides or artificial fertilisers. When there is a glut they make jams and chutneys that are used on the table and are sold in the onsite small shop which make great gifts to take home.

The Yoga and Meditation sessions will be taught by Cat and Sabina and will include fun Activations, Energy Block Releases, Flowing Sequences, Pranayama, Deep Relaxations, Prana Kriyas, Meditation and Spiritual Guidance.

The walks will be around 2-4 hours long, including breaks, and will take you to mountains, quarries, waterfalls and lakes. You’ll also enjoy de-stressing relaxation sessions and optional therapies like Massage and Reiki to help you to relax and recharge. There will also be a beautiful sound healing Gong Bath.

This holiday is from Thursday late afternoon until Monday mid afternoon and is suitable for people of good fitness levels. For overseas guests it’s an ideal introduction to the beauty of North Wales.
