If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture. You may rest at any time during the class. It is important in yoga that you listen to your body, and respect its limits on any given day.
Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. You should consult a GP prior to beginning any activity program, including yoga and recognise that it is your responsibility to notify the teacher of any serious illness or injury before every yoga class. You should not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain.
Neither the instructor, nor the hosting facility, is liable for any injury, or damages, to person or property, resulting from the taking of the class. Those under 18 years of age must have this form signed by a parent or guardian.
You will be required to fill in a health form prior to participating in Dru Yoga class.
Courses, workshops and mini day retreats:
For courses and workshops we can only provide a refund (minus a 10% administration fee) for cancellations made more than 21 days before the start date. If you cancel a course of workshop with less than 21 days notice, no refund will be available. You may pass your booking on to a friend at no additional cost. If the event is fully booked and we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list, we will refund the cost minus a 10% admin fee.
If we cancel a course or workshop, you will be offered either a cash refund or the option of being transferred to an alternative event. Once you have committed to a course or workshop, we recommend that you attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme.
You may cancel up to 12 hours before the class and receive a full refund. If you do not, you will be charged for attending. If you need to cancel due to health reasons, a full refund will be provided for pre-booked drop in classes and for the remaining prepaid sessions. A doctor's note will be required.
Private Yoga classes:
For all private classes we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or if you do not turn up for your appointment, you will be charged the full appointment fee in these circumstances.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking. The balance may then be paid in instalments or the full amount will become due 3 months before the start of the event. Once payments are made they are non-refundable if you cancel for any reason, including health reasons & Covid. Your booking may be transferred to a friend or family member. Please consider taking out travel insurance before booking – individual insurance for a single trip can be as little as £6.00 for over £3500 of cover.
Terms and conditions
Pre-booked classes must be paid for in advance.
Prepay of 6 classes must be used within 6 weeks from the day of first class. If you can’t make it for your usual class, the pass can be used towards any full price class within the 6 weeks.
Prepay cannot be shared.
Classes will automatically be deducted from your prepay upon booking.
Please make sure you arrive at least 5 minutes before the class so that your equipment can be set out without disturbing the class.
Make sure your phone is turned off. If your phone goes off during the class, you will be asked to make a £10 donation towards charity :).
There will be no admission if you are running more than 5 minutes late.
Concessions are offered to students, retired and people on benefits. Student card or proof of unemployment/retirement will be required when you attend class. This applies to all our full price classes.
No discounts on Over 60's Yoga as this is already discounted class.
